The Convention Committee is proud to present the program of events for the 2022 Rhode Island Convention. The Committee also invites all who have not registered to attend or purchased their meals to do so now.

The 2022 Rhode Island Area Convention is only five weeks away! February 11 – 13 at the Newport Marriott! Attendance is limited! Do not miss this opportunity! Support the Convention Committee! Register to attend, purchase meals and reserve one of the few remaining hotel rooms.

The Convention Committee is seeking groups who are willing to provide selected food and beverage items at specific times times to keep the 2022 RI State Convention Hospitality Room stocked for the entire event.

The Hospitality Room is a place where anyone can rest between events, catch up with friends and meet new people. Grab some fruit, eat a snack or get a cup of coffee.

The Committee needs multiple groups supplying different items for each time slot. Select a food item from the list below and a time slot from the list below and submit your selections to conventionchair@aainri.com with your group name and contact information. You will be contacted to confirm your selections and provide delivery instructions.

The Convention Committee, through the generosity of the Area 61 membership, is making available a limited number of Convention Scholarships to the 2022 Area 61 Convention via a lottery system.  A Convention Scholarship is a Registration fee paid to the Registrar in the name of a scholarship recipient or granted to an applicant out of the scholarship funds that give that recipient total access to all meetings for the entire weekend.  These scholarships are intended for those individuals who would not otherwise be able to attend the Convention.

Individuals who wish to apply for a scholarship may do so by filling out the form below. Those who have questions or who wish to apply themselves should email their name, email address and home group(if you have one) to conventionscholarships@aainri.com.

The Rhode Island State Convention is being held at the Newport Marriott on February 11 – 13, 2022. Attendance is limited to 600 only. Usual attendance is over 1000. Don’t delay!
