What does Area 61’s Delegate do?
- Represents Area 61 at the annual meeting of the GSC by carrying the group conscience of Area 61’s groups to the GSC.
- Communicates: Down the triangle by bringing Area concerns, agenda items, and questions to the GSC; and up the triangle by reporting back to the Area on GSC decisions and discussions.
- Informs by sharing information about AA’s Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts; helping groups understand the general service structure and GSC processes; and encouraging participation in general service.
The Delegate does NOT govern AA groups. The Delegate’s role is advisory and representative, grounded in group conscience, and guided by AA’s Traditions and Concepts.

The purpose of this survey is to give the delegate a sense of Area 61’s conscience regarding agenda items for the upcoming Conference. Please submit this form electronically by April 13 (preferred).
